Before you answer that question consider the following -

One thing I love about the internet is that for every piece of good information you can find there is probably over one hundred other pieces of really bad articles and advice. March 2nd, 2009

music-producer-managementBelieve it or not, just like all serious bands who don’t have time to get all the work done themselves and source the efforts of a band manager, music producers also have managers who look after their mundane affairs.

A Serious Music Artist Promotion Mistake

February 18th, 2009

music-artist-promotionMusic artist promotion can be trickey and difficult at the best of times, however one of the biggest reasons why some bands will never make it anywhere is because they are scared of making mistakes.

Check out this clip by Derek Sivers - This clip outlines very clearly what I believe to be as the number one music artist promotion mistake around.

Whatever it is, bands either want to get it right all the time from the very beginning or they are just to scared to do anything and therefore mess everything else up in the meantime. Derek talks about this very well in this clip.
